Catalyst is an ongoing series of paintings of foxgloves. The way these plants, with languid stems and bell-shaped heads, sweep and twist serves as great inspiration for new figure studies.
In the absence of real models, flowers become a metaphor and substitute for the curves and angles of the human form.
